Trying to get back to simply using pencil...on a toned background...this gives it a richness plain white paper doesn't have.

All of these are relatively small...and I am getting in the grove of keeping them simple...but concise..

Another drawing I wished I didn't have to sell...

Charcoal on grey paper...really like whats going on in this one with the edges and contours...it felt subtle...but vibrant and direct...

Okay...I am loving this site. Love those men! Amazing, beautiful art. I love drawing men...cannot get enough! They look beautiful...it is all in the strokes of the artists' hands. This is a talented artist!

Thanks Melissa! Men are my preferred gender to draw as well...so much energy and power coiled under the skin. Thanks for the kind words.

Dear webmaster eft:

I have my eye n the chair photo (male on chair, leg up). Absolutely RAVISHING, really. You do not know how wonderful he looks to me. Adore those male nude drawings! I simply adore them! But that one is my favorite. Thanks for sharing. Great blog. I agree with Mellisa.

"Please watch for more in similar vein." I love that pun. dear, you made me smile. Still smiling. Only we women know or hope that is what what you meant. (I assume you are female, too? No offense if not) Anyways/ I LOVE the drawings. intoxicating work!

Linda...Yes...I am female...and a mother of 6. Its time a woman "did" male figures as well and as often as male artists "do" drawings/paintings of females.

Can I join in here? I just registered. Housewife here. My sons are gone to college and I miss seeing their faces. Took up a drawing class, and was hyperventilating when the male (45 or so) modeled for 3 weeks.

I agree with Rita and Melissa. Let me add, there is a little subtle eroticism in some of the drawings. And I'll gobble up those types--the "similar vein" drawings or paintings if I see them in time. (Not sure if I am reading too much into the comments here, but seems we are on the same wavelength here). Obviously a bunch of good stuff has been sold here and I missed out. I am a mother of many (4, plus a step son and a cat) and let me tell you I really have enjoy these drawings of the male body. I am staring at two of them. I am in my 50's and appreciating supposebly my hormones are falling but honestly I am appreciating certain things more and more every day. Seeing the world differently, maybe more agrressively?

One thing I appreciated is the ability to draw, and another is a nice real-looking male body. I love looking at males.

In society--men are not supposed to be erotic or nude. YOU NEVER SEE THAT! TV, magazines, are "all women - all the time." Most half naked. We are SO NUMB to seeing women in the modern world.

Can a woman my age go through art-appreciation and puberty at the same time. These drawings are truly fantastic. Are they all by the same "eft" artist or a collection by "eft"? LOVE those drawings. Absolutely delicious! I am glad to see I am not the only one going crazy over these.

Wow...Thanks Gina. They are all by the same artist...and it comes down to some level of eroticism I suppose as I am heterosxual. I may not be thinking it as I work (too involved in the nuts and bolts)..but I dare say that there must be an element of attraction at some level that comes through. Glad to see that women are picking up on this!
Thank you so much for your comments!

I said "nuts and bolts"...oh boy. See how subliminal all of this can be? EFT is me...Teresa Ellen Frances
