Just a shirt

Trying to get back to simply using pencil...on a toned background...this gives it a richness plain white paper doesn't have.



















All of these are relatively small...and I am getting in the grove of keeping them simple...but concise..

Charcoal on grey paper...really like whats going on in this one with the edges and contours...it felt subtle...but vibrant and direct...

I can't get these in sequence...but you get the idea. This feels like I am getting to the nuts and bolts of drawing finally. Some real structural work as it were...
